There may never be a better time to buy a new home than now... Take advantage of federal government tax credits, low mortgage interest rates and an ample selection of inventory.

In November 2009, Congress extended the deadline for the Home Buyer Tax Credit... now you have until April 30, 2010 to write a contract on your new home, and you must close/settle by June 30, 2010.

At the same time that they extended the deadline, they also EXPANDED the requirements for who is eligible to recieve a Home Buyer Tax Credit.

Qualified first-time home buyers may receive up to $8,000 in tax credits.
Qualified repeat buyers may receive up to $6,500 in tax credits.
