This morning, I met with a new purchaser in what is about to be her brand new home. She purchased the home when it was nearly completed, and we are in the process of finishing the third floor to accommodate the needs of her family.

The purchase was worked out between real estate agents, so today was the first time I had actually met the customer face-to-face. It was a great reminder to me of “why” we do what we do. Our customer was so enthusiastic and excited about her new home. I got to listen to her describe her hopes and dreams for what she wanted done in her home – both now and in the future. I learned about her plans for the third floor space we are currently finishing for her. I even got to hear about her new washing machine and dryer that will be going in the laundry room!

We are home builders. Which means, quite simply, we build homes. Homes that people live in. They raise their children there. They share meals together and have birthday parties. They celebrate holidays in their homes. Everybody lives somewhere.
